Gents you cannot believe the gratitude of the people this fundraiser is helping when I told them of how well it is going this morning!!! These people were voted The Happiest People in the World a few years ago and for good reason. Even though many have lost everything they still smile. We loose a few cents per share on a stock we picked and it ruins our day or week. I often drive in the morning to town on the outskirts of Mele village the village benefiting from our efforts - always clean and proudly presented and its inhabitants wave at me with huge white smiles, every morning when many don't have power and only a dirt floor - but regardless they turn themselves out looking perfect for work with big smiles and wi always help someone else that needs a hand....

I'm going to shortly post some pictures my wife and I took after the cyclone so you can see first hand how the cyclone ravished the village and our surrounds....

Thanks so much for giving. Joanna, myself and the folk from Mele village really do appreciate it...

Ive just reviewed the fundraiser site and I must say Im so thankful to everyone on these boards. Some incredible generosity shown by folk on here...its truely appreciated. Heres are a few pictures of the village on Tuesday 4 days after the event. We are already well into clean up mode, hoping to have power restored to parts of the village in the next week or so...
