Daniel, Here's one for your collection that I've not see before. Found it for sale at the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone; a Panamera S Hybrid, in Fashion Grey with.....Sport Classic stripes! Slightly different colour but close.
I didn't know Porsche sold this type of stripe. Anyway, they do and are happy to stick them on a saloon. Apologies, the stripes are barely visible in the photo but they are there and they run right over the bonnet, roof and rear.
Also there but not for sale was an original Sport Classic. It was parked by the window and my car was parked the other side of the window. I stood inside and looked at both cars from the same point and I couldn't tell much difference. The Classic maybe a smidgen darker, same hue. It was closer in colour to the photo in post 270 rather than 269 (which may be attributable to the lighting).

1. By "Sport Classic stripes" I'm assuming you mean to say the stripes are of the same design as the 997 Sport Classic (and not colour, ie. not Sport Classic grey). If so, do you know what colour they were? Can you get any more info about them, like ordering code, price, etc?
2. I'm very interested to hear that Sport Classic grey is a very close match to Grigio campovolo! That was the reason why I selected campovolo initially, hoping to replicate Sport Classic. They are both a fantastic colour! Having seen fashion grey, grigio campovolo, and Sport Classic grey together, do you have any photos with them in the same picture? How does fashion grey compare to the other two?
997sc has checked in to report the Sport Classic grey (63A) Spyder spotted earlier is his. It will be making its home as a 63A trio with a genuine, honest to goodness 997 Sport Classic and an Audi Q3 in the same colour!

Sorry it took so long to update, but I did finally confirm that the Macan S is Fashion Grey (61H). I also saw it inside and it looks much more like the other pictures. Such an interesting color in how it changes in different lighting conditions. But with Sports Classic Grey a potential.....

Thanks for checking. It also photographs different from how my eye sees it sometimes too. But sport classic as you say is available. I don't know of a 911 in that colour yet but I was told it is possible. I suspect it is a bit less yellow/green than 61H. But I cannot say so for certain.
Another excellent post from Eduardo, the PTS guru, comparing fashion grey to Nardo from Audi. A lot of people have wondered about this question. Now we have a definitive anwer. BTW, Eduardo, congratulations on your new Nardo RS7!!!

'Nardo Gray' has not yet appeared on the Porsche PTS list,
even for a feasibility study. So it's not currently available
at Porsche via PTS, nor even under consideration at the
present time. 'Nardo' refers to the test track (Pista di prova
di Nardò) in Italy recently purchased by...Porsche. And
over the years, before PAG bought it in 2012, it had been
the site of many vehicle world records & famous endurance
tests for Fiat, Ferrari, Porsche & other car manufacturers.
So the name has a historic association to Porsche...as well
as a present one too!
Interestingly, 'Nardo Gray' is a no cost option on the RS7.
I don't think 'Nardo Gray' today is a standard on anything
else on the Audi model range...but I could be wrong. It
can be ordered, however, as PTS via 'Audi Exclusive' for
US $ 3,900 on any model. Even though the Audi cost of
PTS is now almost 1/2 of Porsche's new PTS pricing, I
just couldn't resist the 'bargain' of selecting a beautiful
(uni/solid) & rare color with a history at Audi for....free!
I took delivery of my custom ordered 'Nardo Gray' RS7
two weeks ago Monday!
I haven't seen a photo with fashion grey and sport classic grey in the same image together. But it seems to me that fashion grey is perhaps slightly darker; it is definitely more saturated (yellow) than sport classic grey. If you recall this post, notice the stripes on the Panny (which I'm assuming are TEquipment and exactly the same stripes as on the 997 Sport Classic).

(BTW, Puf's car is Grigio Campovolo, which he says is very similar to Sport Classic grey. Campovolo grey is a bit lighter than Fashion grey.)
Now comparing this photo to that of a Sport Classic, using the decal stripes as reference standard (assuming they are identical), you can make some inferences about the two colours (even if the lighting conditions are different)
I'm hoping when a sport classic grey car arrives in the near area, perhaps NavanoD's car, I will be able to see and photograph it side by side with mine or another fashion grey car. Then we'll know the difference. I believe there are only a few original 997 Sport Classics around, and there is at least one owner of a Fashion grey GT3 who also owns one of these beauties and has imported it over. Perhaps he would be willing to snap a photo of the two together (anonymous918, if you're reading and able to take such a photo, please humour us!!).
