Any guesses as to the total number of 2014s in the US when all is said and done?

What posts are you referring to? My 2015 as well as most of the others on this forum have a September production date with a November delivery date. I don't recall seeing one that said they had a September delivery
date for a 2015 model.

Those 2015s being delivered in 4th quarter are reclassified 2014s. No new 2015 allocations have been released. My Dealer said 4th quarter announcement for beginning early Spring 2015 delivery. But because they used some of the 2015 allocations for the reclassified 2014s there will be less to go around.

In the end, this is a very limited run due to the "stop sale". Just be happy if you are getting one or getting a 2015 allocation if you want this car

The reclassified 2014s, that will be delivered as 2015s in the Fall, haven't been "sold" (paid for) yet.

Nor have they been sent through production yet, and my guess would be it will be late fall before one of the reclassifieds gets delivered.
