Default Key remote

Just replaced car battery on 2008 Cayman S and now both keys remotes do not lock or open any of the trunks. Drove over 30 minutes using both keys and also did the door lock driver side test and still does not work. batteries are also new in the keys.

I've replaced the battery on my '11 Boxster S and there was no impact on the key remote.

Comments, anyone?

I'm not sure what the cause is but I do know that the durameteric tool has a tab for resetting and configuring keys. If the car doesn't reset itself you may need to see a mechanic to get them reset unless of course you have a durametric
