The other night I had the great fortune of walking out of the grocery store to find my car had a dead battery. Got a jump and drive home. Charged it yesterday but it wouldn't take a charge. Never had a battery just go like that. Anyhow, this afternoon I went for a replacement. The only option local was an autozone platinum. Works but there is a concern. It not only doesn't have vents, it clearly states atop the battery that it is not to be vented. Is this because this is a gel battery and venting is not necessary? Thanks.
