Wink want to upgrade my exhaust for my cayman, any recommend?

After driving for a while, I'm thinking of upgrading my 718 Cayman recently, and exhaust is my first choice

how about the AWE Track Exhaust?

or other good exhaust brand like remus, fabspeed, ipe?

I would definitely take a look at Fabspeed. They are very active around here and have invested a lot into these platforms.

a few spyder guys got a nice tour of Fabspeed last spring, seems like pretty advanced fabrication going on there. Here's a picture of their Valvetronic exhaust, iirc for the 981 Spyder, best of both worlds...

cheers, Donn

And now they have a lightweight Fabspeed competition exhaust too. Looks nice!

What generation & model Cayman do you have? I have many customers in Brazil who run a Porsche Cayman series down there and the top guys swear by the iPE system and always purchase it no matter how many times I offer the Akrapovic version.

I believe there is someone selling a complete system (Fabspeed race headers and supercup exhaust for about half the cost of new) in the classifieds.

I recently bought this exact setup (also used) but haven't installed it yet.

Still polishing it.

I can literally walk to Fabspeed from my house (and have many times). I've seen and heard their products - second to none. Ask for John Gaydos. Good luck!!

Congrats on picking up the 718! How are you enjoying it so far? We have several different options available for the 718 Cayaman, what are your goals with the sound? More turbo sound? More burble/overrun?

Thank you Alex, I appreciate the kind words and look forward to tweaking that 987.2 of yours! Nice profile picture btw, I just met Mario Andretti on Tuesday and was hanging out after the show until 2am with David Hobbs, Leigh Diffey, and Steve Matchett. Heard a lot of behind the scenes info on Schumy as a person, all great things. Hobbs is absolutely HILARIOUS btw.

Thanks for the kind words Donn, it was great to meet you and the other GT4/Spyder owners that came by for the tour. You are welcome to stop by any time, and hope to see you again soon!

Have to ditch some weight and add aggression for the track guys haha. Taking one of those through a tunnel is BLISS let me tell you

Not for a 718, we don't make headers for that car yet haha. Nice job on the polishing by the way, they are going to sound just as good as they look when you're done haha.
