I appreciate in advance any comments you may have to two questions -
the dealer wants $900 to apply xpel to the front fenders, half the hood and the mirrors and $1900 for the front fenders, entire hood and mirrors. Is this reasonable?
Whole K 40 set up, wireless remote etc but with a front difuser only (no rear difuser) seem fair at $2400?

I paid a bit more than that for whole hood, mirrors, front/rear fenders, and rockers. I think their price is reasonable. but see if they'll at least do your rockers for you at the same price (or $2000) since they can get pretty beaten up. I'm assuming the dealer has documented factory trained XPEL technicians do the work? Have you personally seen examples of their work - I would want to see that before moving forward. I'm happy with the coating that was done on my car.

The clear bra pricing is about right, similar to what I paid 6 years ago although I had a bit more coverage. Most important is to insure you get a good installer, some dealer installers aren't very good and you end up with visible lines or scratches in the paint.
As far as the radar detector, I would totally skip this option. With radar and laser constantly changing and cars utilizing radar/laser technology for speed and safety you will likely have an outdated piece of electronics within a couple of years. Just grab something portable and have it hard wired into the fuse panel so you have no visible wires. That way you can change it easily once it's outdated.

Don't get a K40. Waste of money. Buy an escort 9500ix. Save yourself a bunch, but just remember if you are the only guy on the road running at triple digits, no detector will help if the fuzz is hiding w/ instant on.
Clear bra is great, but all comes down to installer. When I had mine put on in '12, Xpel wasn't the thing. Mine is 3m product. Over 4 yrs, it has protected, but I cannot get away from little scuffs. They will not buff out either. May look into replacement depending on how much longer I hold the car.
