Default 2016 spyder - fuchs

So I would like to put fuchs on my 16 spyder

the biggest sizes available are 8.5x19 and 11x19

my stock wheels are 8.5x20 and 10.5x20

if I switch to 19s: 8.5x19 front and an 11x19 in the rear

how do I select tires that will be the same overall height as what I have now and wont rub any worse than stock?

Why would you swap out 20"s for 19"s? If you're not crazy about your wheels, can you find another (HRE or other) that you could love? I just think 20"s look so great on a Boxster, whether base/S/Spyder.

because they don't make that wheel in 20"

I found what I was looking for...

The tire sizes to do this are

245/40-19 front
285/35-19 rear

Thanks~

They are, more so than those on my 2011 Spyder. Would you have the weights for the wheels? Did you go through a reseller or direct from the manufacturer?

Can't wait to see those new shoes on your Spyder

This is a picture of your new wheels on a 987 Spyder... on a red one I also reposted pics of my Spyder with the Fuchs FP1 wheels so we can really see the differences ...

Now that I can see pics of them on a 981, they really are great looking, and don't look dated. Fuchs were certainly great looking wheels on the older 911s.

The weights for the stock 981 Boxster Spyder wheels are:

Rear 25.6lbs

Front 23.2lbs

and for the Fuchsfelge Wheels they are

Rear: 19x11 ET51 | 25lbs |

Front: 19x8½ ET56 | 23lbs |

Here are the weights versus the Factory 987 Boxster Spyder wheels:

Fuchs Performance FP.1
8.5x19” 22 lbs. 13 oz.
10x19” 22 lbs. 6 oz.

Porsche Factory 987 Boxster Spyder
8.5x19” 21 lbs. 15 oz.
10x19” 23 lbs. 14 oz.

Have you taken a look at Rotiform's FUC wheel?

These are completely custom forged wheels meaning you can choose the 20" sizing you want and need. They come in Monoblock, 2-piece, or three different 3-Piece configurations. Not to mention any colors you want...

Well I may end up buying these, Mark from fuchsfelge usa is slow to respond, and then tried to tell me that the widest rim that will fit my 981 spyder is 10" I told him the bloody car came with 10.5" rears... I must be stupid, so he is pissing me off.
