An online search turned up some hits. Like this one:

http://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/Certi...-checklist.pdf

And this one:

http://www.nvcpcertified.com/documen...inspection.pdf

Both appear to be the same document.

Good catch, thanks Macster!.

Today I had the chance to test drive the car. That checklist was very useful!. The car looks and works awesome, tho I noticed the following:

1.- After cold starting the car, (what I think is) the steering pump makes a cracking/clicking noise when the driver maneuvers to leave the parking spot. It seems to go away once the engine has warmed up. What could be the cause? should I worry about this?

2.- The soft top won't fold completely down, it gets stuck once it's almost down and the display console marks up an "error with the soft top controller"

Carmax offered to get this fixed before we close the deal so here I am again, waiting for the car to be ready.

Any thoughts on this?

Regards,
Javier.

For issue 1. The steering " crackling " maybe what's know as the " Ackerman Effect". Google " Porsche Ackerman Effect". Here's a link below. See if this similar to what the car is displaying.

I can't help you With the soft top issue as I have CGTS.

Good luck and again I really recommend buying a Porsche from an authorized dealer and getting the car CPO - but I guess I'm overly cautious, I want to enjoy my Porsche and not worry about expensive repairs for awhile.

I'd also suggest going CPO. If carmax is missing things like the top, which should be obvious, what else are they missing? These cars can cost you big time if your'e not careful.
