Race Car
I had one previous Porsche, a 2004 996 C4S. Bought it in 2006 with 1100 miles from Isringhausen. Car was Atlas Gray with black full leather. Only mods I did were a full clear bra, clear corners (this pic was taken shortly after I got the car) and a factory short shifter. Great car - in some ways I regret selling it. Solid as a rock - except for the IMS going out a month after I sold it. Porsche covered the expense for the new buyer.

My 4th Porsche.. had two 997 Turbos, one coupe one cab and a 958 Cayenne.
The 981 BS is my favorite to drive so far... or at least the most responsive/rewarding one.

A Cayenne diesel.
Don't see Cayennes on the options list (I can't select 'truck' because it's simply not one!). Macan either, and it's certainly not a truck. Don't see Panamera on there, either, though I didn't have one of those.

I confess to having had a (well documented) obsession with buying a 911, of some shape or form, for the last several months... Until Monday, when I bought a 981 CS.
I was ready to move on from my first Porsche, the 987.1 CS pictured next to its new younger brother below, but just couldn't talk myself into the larger, rear-engined 911. So happy with my decision. (Wish the PO hadn't drilled LP holes in the front bumper, but first world problems are a bitch.)
I absolutely love this car.
Edit: I also owned a dozen or so other vehicles before my 987, but none of them were Porsches, so who cares.

1961 356 roadster garage queen (drove it to prom - only time dad allowed it)
1964 356 race-modified coupe (bought it 50/50 with my dad in mid-90's for $13,500... drove it most days to high school junior-senior year in the snow.. -lived in Michigan - spun it more times than I care to admit.. hit a deer with it, bent the bumper back and it was fine.... somehow survived my teens despite it).. being alive today despite my adventures in this car is purely an act of God. I don't believe in god so I'll chalk it up to luck.
550 beck spyder in 00's... definition of a suicide machine.. brother has it now... somehow both of us are alive.
C2s.... beautiful but boring in comparison... not homicidal enough, not even close.
Anyway.. that's my p-car history pre-981 Spyder which I own today.. have driven and tracked many Porsche's including 918 and other special ones but the ones above are the only ones I've actually owners. I need to dig up pics of the 356's, but those are pre-digital so harder to upload.

981 Spyder is my 3rd P car. Had a 930 (1980 Turbo) followed by a 997.1 GT3. Didn't track and only fair weather weekend cars so figured why not try a cabriolet. Love the Spyder although steering feel is a little muted compared to the hydraulic rack of the GT3 and not as raw as either other car. That said, it's infinitely more "useable" around town and the modern creature comforts, e.g. Bluetooth make it more practical. Great looking as well!
Someone above mentioned
the MGA. I did a frame off resto of one about 15 years ago but couldn't keep it in a move. That is one car I will definitely have again. If it weren't such a death trap with modern traffic where I live, I'd buy it again today!
