http://automobileassociates.com/ Automobile Associates of Canton, CT. Located near Avon CT. They have worked on a BMW for me, and a number of Porsches owned by my brother. They have restored many Manhattan Trophy winners, and do absolutely the best service and body work I have seen, period. No one knows 911's better than this group. Superb shop all around.

Rennwerke did a lot of good work on my 924S, but I haven't needed much outside of warranty work and tires on the 981 yet.

Another good option is Stable Energies in Garfield, NJ - they do everything, but they focus on track/racing prep for cars, so I'm sure they'd be a good place to go for suspension modifications, safety gear, etc.

Ditto on DeMan. Knows the cars inside and out especially Caymans. Quick turnaround. Extensive selection of used parts (even upgrade parts such as what you are looking for) as customers continually upgrade.

A bit heavy handed on the labor hours though
