Default FABSPEED MOTORSPORT | Porsche 987.2 Boxster / Cayman Valvetronic Exhaust System

Many of you know my endeavors to piece together and document a complete performance package solution on my Cayman R to maximize performance of the 987.2. You’ve seen my posts, you’ve watched my videos—now it’s time give the Fabspeed Porsche 987.2 Boxster / Cayman Valvetronic Exhaust System the spotlight it deserves. Unmatched versatility between mild and aggressive tones with the performance to match; the ultimate catback exhaust solution for the 987.2 Boxster/Cayman.

SOUND: We're proud to offer a premium exhaust solution for the Porsche 987.2 Boxster / Cayman. Our Valvetronic Exhaust offers two distinct tones depending on valve position: mild and wild. Thanks to our unique design, you'll be able to enter your neighborhood after a midnight joyride without having to explain yourself at the next HOA meeting. With one press of the factory Sport button or Fabspeed valve controller remote, the valves open and you’re treated to a glorious roar of the 987.2's flat six. Burbles and backfires erupt in abundance, and downshifts summon a bark that will make all eyes and ears around focus on you. We're not exaggerating. This system will put an ear-to-ear smile on the most miserly of faces.

FINISH: Full polished T304L stainless steel, beautifully welded together and finished off with premium carbon fiber shrouded tips which fit the rear bumper of the Cayman / Boxster like a finely tailored suit. We're also happy to offer premium tips for our Valvetronic Exhaust System. Our Single-Wall Stainless Steel Tips is hand built out of stainless steel and hand finished with pride at Fabspeed Motorsport.

POWER: The addition of Fabspeed's Valvetronic Exhaust System extracted 8 whp and 5 ft-lbs of torque peak power gains out of my very own Race Header and Accessport with Protune equipped 987.2 Cayman R when tested on our in house Dynojet.

The 987.2 Boxster / Cayman Valvetronic Exhaust is controlled by the factory exhaust valve button. Two unique exhaust tones in system, the choice is yours at any time. No PSE? No problem! A Fabspeed Valve Controller Kit is included to control the operation of the valves on vehicles that did not come with the Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE).

For those of you who haven’t see any of my videos, take a listen to my Cayman R with the Valvetronic Exhaust System. Turn your speakers up, close your eyes and imagine your 987.2 sounding the same way!

It’s been an amazing learning experience developing the perfect performance exhaust for the 987.2 Boxster / Cayman and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The Fabspeed Porsche 987.2 Boxster / Cayman Valvetronic Exhaust System is the culmination of my passion, exhaustive R&D and Fabspeed’s commitment to excellence. For more info, pictures and videos, head over to the product page HERE.

If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’ve been involved in the development of all 987.2 performance products from day one and I’m here to help you through your own 987.2 modification journey.

Thanks everyone!

glad you guys decided to continue making this one John, for a while I thought it had been discontinued in favor of the system with the short open pipes in track mode. Back on my someday list. Happy holidays all !

I've been fortunate enough to have John give me a "ride" in his Cayman. That unassuming Porsche is a beast - both in sound and performance. I was still shaking when I got out of his car. Fabspeed is a terrific company who knows how to configure just the right mods - damn, he even made a new 718 sound great!!

I remember it like it was yesterday haha, I'm glad it made an impression! These cars have quite the amount of potential, and are quite underrated in my opinion. I really appreciate the kind words too. We put a lot of effort and passion into our products and our experience helps hit the nail on the head for our customer's goals.

Once the weather clears up more reliably please bring back that GORGEOUS 981 of yours!

It did for sure! I will certainly bring the 981S by Fabspeed. Perhaps not this Tuesday or Wednesday - I or it would not be happy navigating 1-2 feet (yes, feet) of snow!!

I'm waiting for the weather to clear up here so I can go out with marketing and get some more video of my car - it's been an abysmal week weather wise. Are there any particular shots or angles anyone would like to see when we go out shooting?

Still running our Race Headers/Valvetronic Exhaust System on my Cayman R and LOVING IT!

Pictures/Video from my latest track day at NYST run by fellow Rennlist member Cooperyau. First time on track in a car in the wet, SO MUCH FUN!

Also loving the new wrap from MC Designs, can't stop looking at it and snapping necks everywhere I drive it haha.
