Nov 12th: Mid-Engine Porsche Breakfast & Drive: hosted by RRS Autogroup - SJ, CA.
Dear Friends,
I was talking to my buddy Steven Shee, owner of RRS Autogroup (http://rrsautogroup.com/) about setting up some more drives like we did this summer to Canepa C&C. Steven came up a nice idea for him hosting a breakfast at his shop in San Jose, followed by a simple drive route through the santa cruz mountain twisties. Proposed itinerary for those who want to join will be posted in the usual NorCal Porsche faceboko groups, and could work as follows:
8am: meet at RRS Autogroup for breakfast provided by Steven with a small "Tech Session" added while we eat.
Club Autosport 521 Charcot Ave, Shop 209 San Jose, CA95131
Phone: (650) 981-7836
Email: sales@rrsllc.org
9am-930am depart towards hwy 17 and make our way to Scotts Valley.. then turn up Hwy 9 towards Boulder Creek, over Skyline Blvd and down the other side.. all done by 12 noon and back home to families.
Share with your mid-engine porsche friends.. and yes, we will yell obscenities and make funny gestures if any 911's show up #kiddingnotkidding Of course, if a CarreraGT or 918 Spyder shows.. technically, they are in.
peace out.
PSA: if there are any 718's in the group, consider installing those awesome new Flatsixsound (trademark) exhausts before attending..

Was a lot of fun! There was some slow traffic for a bit....but they got out of the way (some not voluntarily). Here are couple of pics before we took off, I was surprised we had 3 spyders (2 981 and my 987.2)

Yeah, it was fun! Would have been one more spyder if I had brought my 981 agate, but I brought my BGB 3.8 smurf instead. Beautiful day, good friends.
