Just had a full detail/paint correction on my Cayman R
[Cross posted from the Concourse and Car Care forum]
I just had a full paint correction/detail and clear bra install at Auto Concierge in Fremont, CA and I'm blown away by the results. Robert Willis is an absolute genius at paint correction and a complete perfectionist. It's no wonder that he's got a long line of high-end car owners lining up to get access to his services. Looking forward to getting my 993 in there for the spa treatment too! No affiliation with the shop other than a very satisfied customer.
Thanks to Rennlister bk_911 for turning me onto Robert.

Wow - that is nice! Any before shots and what stage correction did you do?
Curious as to how much does something like this set you back and also what type of clear protection did you put on it?

The paint protection film was done by Evan Renka of Pacific Auto Films using Suntek film. Evan partners with Auto Concierge and is in the Bay Area often to work on cars. I went for the 'race' kit which covers the entire front of the car, mirrors and rear fenders. I also had him do the rear wing, door cups and lower section of the doors to protect the 'Porsche' decal. I'll PM you the breakdown of the cost for the paint correction and clear film install.

Congrats! The car looks better than new! We should meet up for a drive at some point.

That looks stunning!! The surface looks like glass! I wonder how often you would need to go through this process. With regular self-washing and detailing, you will pick up swirl marks and other blemishes gradually. And doesn't paint correction diminish the paint thickness? Though the result is spectacular, how frequently we could do this and what would be the long term effects?
