I had 305s on wide fender 991 C4. I would think that's too wide for 981 Spyder. Just a guess.

Rear wheels are .5 cm wider(Spyder is 8.5/10.5; GT4 is 8.5/11)...don't know what that means, if we can put 295s on the back. The front of the GT4 has 245s.

You should be able to fit a 295 on the Spyder, even with a 10.5" rear rim. Not quite as good sidewall support, but Michelin shows a rim width range of 10-11" for the 295/30-20 tire.

But, do you really wanna increase the unsprung weight? One of the reasons the car is under-tired is to make it playful. If you are gonna track it, would wider rubber help or hinder?

I'd say you don't want to put anything bigger than 295 on it, the balance is really really nice stock

Most are complaining the GT4 understeers with the 245/295 setup. I think the stock Spyder setup may be just right.

Are you serious? Is the rear ens twitchy or something I find my PASM 981BS beautifully balanced and highly maneuverable without being nervous. Maybe the best handling car I've owned I would imagine the Spyder must be even better
