You're never going to get the same effect with a wrap.

As I approach the 2000 mile mark and prepare to unleash the monster the thought occurs to me, what are the widest rear tires that I can put on this spyder without issues....

The only things I would consider, so far are:
- Aspheric mirrors
- Good Head-Unit with at least two USB ports. Can anyone recommend one? Thanks.

I would want to drive for a while before considering any mod. Out of the box, for street use, the car seems nearly-perfect. Any mod needs to enhance that experience without compromising reliability and cohesiveness.

Looks like without gt4 lettering, for those looking.

Right :-)

Custom/model lettering can be added in colour of your choice - let us know your wishes and we´ll make them possible..

I've finalized my mental color scheme for my gt silver car and it's going to have the carbon gt4 side blades from db (can you guys make them in flat carbon?) and the gold wheels from gt2rs.

Anyone know what color gold those wheels are?

Sure, we make everything possible

Matt finish is no problem, same conditions.. Please feel free to call or PM when you would like to place your order and get us starting to manufacture your GT4 side blades!

Gt4 Air scoops in gt silver Spyder body color, or carbon?.. Undecided.

I Have yet to see anyone do the scoops on a Spyder yet... Haven't seen any mods at all yet in fact.

just ordered sport headers from Fabspeed. has been a pleasure working with John there.. he patiently but quickly answered a myriad questions from me, and explained the pros and cons of various setup options. I ended up going with just the sport headers for now, so that I can add the fabspeed exhaust and cobb at a later date. I wanted a small volume increase and that equal header sound, while improving that 3600rpm torque dip which would be evident in the street driving this car is intended for.

Spyder should be here in a 2 weeks or so.. will drive it stock for a few weeks and then do the install once the headers are ready. will take video and report back on sound changes and results... I think this may be the first Spyder with modified exhaust.. should sound wicked with the open roof.

You'll be surprised at how amazing it sounds stock. I am all about a good exhaust note, and the stock exhaust sounded better than my fabspeed 987. Headers are a good call as it won't affect tone but increase volume -- and its already punchy!

Btw - wth is the Gaia leader doing? It looks like it lost power and has been drifting towards Mexico for the last 24 hrs :-/

Haha!! I think that little boat landed in San Diego and cars are being offloaded.

Headers were mostly for the 3600rpm torque gains.. Gonna get the little midrange bump.

Already have a stash of stuff for the damn thing and I've never even seen a Spyder in the flesh... It's Retarded
