Default Door Rattle

I thought i would post what i found to be the cause of my door rattle. On the door jam is a u shaped loop that the door latches to when closed. Turns out that while driving, it was causing a rattle that sounded like it was coming from inside the door. I wrapped the metal loop with some electrical tape and presto no more rattle. Hopefully this helps some people. Was really driving me nuts.

I've had this before and there is an adjustment that can made to correct. It is related to that same hoop though.

Yup, I had the dealer adjust the hoops under warranty a couple times to fix that door rattle

Good to know. The sound was really driving me crazy, particularly when the top was off.

Any idea what the adjustment is or how to? Hate to go all the way to the dealer if it's an easy one.
