Default Question for 981 owners

Has Porsche made any changes to the emergency release for the frunk (like maybe a factory emergency cable that is actually accessible in an emergency?) or procedure for getting enough charge to open the frunk in an emergency? (I.e current procedure calls for hooking up a charge to the fuse box).

When my dealer serviced a minor recall for the front bumper of my '05, I had them install an extension to the factory emergency release so I could reach it from the cap where the tow hook screws in. It's pretty simple to do, and one less worry on my mind if my battery ever fails.
