Boxster 2.7 Vs Boxster 3.2
Dear members,
I´m searching to buy a Boxster. I have one Boxster S with 89.000kms for 32.500€ and another Boxster 2.7 with 42.000 for 35.000€.
The 2.7 is visible newer. Please help me on this decision.

It depends on your usage... both are excellent as DD, however, if planning on tracking recommend the 3.2. I track mine which is 2.7, but wishing I had the additional HP on the straights. My next Boxster will be the new 2012 and will purchase the non-S. IMO the additional 10K for the S version is not enough justification...
Drive them both and decide...
Either vehicle recommend d-snorkel the air intake by removing the restriction plate and adding a short-shifter.
Best of luck!

Hi Cvazquez!
The car will be for use at weekend and summer days. I´ll not track with the car. On the other way, i already owned the following cars:
M3 E36
Z3 M Coupe
M3 E46
I´m affraid to feel short on power.
Do you think in the future the market will give more value to a Boxster S even with higher mileage?

Yes, the S will receive the additional value even with the higher mileage. I don't regret getting the non-S as a daily driver, but on the race track it does become a consideration. If you are using the Boxster as stated, you should be very happy with the non-S model. I decided to de-snorkel the Boxster and that made a big difference. The non-S has the power, however, you need to drive it at the high power curve to get every pony at your disposal.
Test driver the non-S and see for yourself how amazing the Boxster is... The first time tracking the Boxster I was a little apprehensive, but after the 4th session I was so impressed with this machine that my times started coming down by 2-3 seconds at every session. I LOVE MY NON-S BOXSTER!
Best of luck on your final decision!
