Cool Finding Porsche Options Fitted

Hi,

I am going to see a car for sale this weekend and just wondered if there is a way to find out all the options fitted to the car.

For example can i take the VIN or Chasis Number and take this to a porsche main dealer and ask them to clarify all the options fitted?

Has anyone done this or is there another way of finding all the equipment installed?

Many Thanks

Michael

With older cars the options should be on a tag inside the front trunk and on the owners manual. Newer cars only had the tag on the owners manual. I do not know of a way to get an options list from a VIN. Also the options are all coded. You will need some why to look up the option codes. You can find them on RennTech.com or go to a Porsche dealer and get a new car book. The option codes don't change that frequently so you can use the new book to decodde an old car.
