Looks more like a SQR model. Let's see the plug on the lower right that's cropped out of the picture. You might have an amp or two somewhere since the speaker leads return.

Still looking for a working CR-1 for my 968 if anyone has any leads...

@wi54545 - did you get your Continental install fully sorted? Curious how that's working out for you.

I'm taking a CR1 out of a 968 I am acquiring next week. It does not work. I have no idea why and don't want to get into the solve. Am not sure if I have the codes. It will be available come Tuesday.

Yea mine doesn't work either. There is a guy in eBay that fixes them for 375.00. I'm either going to do that or get the porsche classic nav radio.

I installed the new Porsche Classic radio in mine and I absolutely love it. Easy job and plug and play if you're lucky enough that a previous owner didn't chop off any harnesses while installing an aftermarket unit.

Hi there. I’m replacing my working CR-1 with the Porsche Classic too. Just curious how you plugged into the existing harnesses? I don’t want to cut the wires. Thanks!

Wondering if you need to sync your cell phone with the Classic radio for all the map/directions functions. Or can you use it in stand alone operation?
