Default New to me 94 Polar Silver M030 Car

Finalized the deal today on a 94 M030 car two hours south of my home. To think I nearly dismissed this car a month or so ago on a real generic cars for sale website as the pictures were terrible and they photographed it with the rear spoiler off (appears that it was being re-painted)

Drove her home this evening, rode stiff, and tight. Belts were done 12,000 miles ago but it was 6 years ago. That has me a little worried.

A local P car enthusiast site mentioned seeing the car and mentioned the M030 and sport seats (none of which could you see or tell in the add)

Anyway Jeff gave me this info on the vin

1 of 114 A8 Polar silver coupes
1 of 13 when you add the Midnight blue interior
1 of 99 M030 968 coupes
1 of 8 M030 Polar silver coupes

Lots of options:
A8 metallic paint
FJ partial leather in midnight blue
XD4 painted crest center caps
030 sport chassis package
220 Limited slip diff
383/387 sport seats
398 17" Cup2 wheels (part of 030)
490 hi-fi sound with 10 speakers and amps
595 body-colored painted rear spoiler

Car has 110,000 miles. Has been maintained nicely over the years, was a driver and not a garage queen. Paint is a little thin in places. Needs some love here and there.

Let the sorting begin.

John

John, you scored big time! Congrats. With those options and being an M030, once you have it fully sorted it is worth $30k, and rising.....

Great find!! I'm working to accurately clone the M030 option on my Polar Silver and it is an expensive project...awesome that you found an original M030 Polar Silver....

Congrats, nice catch!
Wouldn't mind adding such a nicely specced polar silver to my garage too

@ Sdale944
Nice wheels! These 996 Carrera wheels look good under a 968.

Added a couple of pics, have had no time with work, kids, and everything to even start cleaning her up a bit. Uncovered today and let run for a few minutes so I snapped a couple photos.

I just completed mine. It's also Polar Silver. Every part that an 030 came equipped with has been sourced and is now installed on my car and some were NIB. I temporarily left the helper springs off of the rear shocks b/c to retain my ROW ride height with those added I will have to re-index the torsion bars. Been there, done that; it's certainly not the most fun thing to do to a 968...

OP - great score on the 030 car with 220 and sport seats!

What did it cost you roughly to do an m030 suspension?

Was this at Blue Ridge? I saw it last year but had too much going on personally to get my head into it.
