Light bulb guide?
Does anyone have a list (or a link) of the various light bulbs in a 968 interior and exterior? Specifically, I need to replace a bulb or two in my tail lamps, and in the guage cluster, and behind the outside temperature display.

They are all very easy to find on pelican.
Pepboys has a little computer in the lighting isle, the tail lights and
cluster bulbs can be had there. These two bulbs a very common.

I buy my lamps from (by recommendation from Daniel Stern): http://store.candlepower.com
I've replaced all my exterior lamps with Narva bulbs which are made in Poland. Many of the ones I'm finding at the local parts store are now made in China.

The center tail light uses the same bulb as the interior (the glass-only insert type). The same bulb can be found in the clock, behind the logo for the center dash vent, etc.
Other things, like dash warning lights, use the bulb with the plastic base and the bulb is not removable from this housing. The temp display uses a bulb like these ones with the plastic housing, but it's shape is unique. AFAIK it's the only one on the car shaped like this. It's the same as the bulb on 85.5-91 944 digital clocks.
I replaced my temp display bulb with a 2000mcd amber wide-angle LED, soldered right to the contacts with a resistor in series. I try to match the color of the thing it will illuminate to retain a stock look, since "white" LEDs are too cool in tone. I'm just tired of these stupid fragile little bulbs breaking from the faintest flick or tap. And it looks fine btw.
