Smile Restoration started- GOT IT BACK LAST NIGHT SROM SPRAY BOOTH!!

Well the old girl is finally getting the attention she deserves. My 95 cab had been a daily driver and had accumulated her share of scars. Well the day came - the B pillar arm broke. The rear window was already cracked and I had a pink fender thanks to the PO geeting a cheap repair- SO

Off with the top- repalced -and we stripped the entire car minus hood and truncklid for painting. I did not want any tape marks and wanted it to be as close to factory as my patience and wallet could stand.

Buffing is done- what a pain- but the results are incredible. take a look- the nose and rear are only sitting on the car but the doors are hung- top is sitting also

every ding was removed and the hood came out like glass- it brings out the lines and shows off how sexy these cars are!!

And the part that started it all

Anyone want to make me a small low intrest loan to finish the car- LOL
I am replacing all the rubber trim this week. If anyone wants pictures of something special while the car is appart let me know--

Regards, michael.nott@areva.com

Paint was PPG base coat clear coat with the factory original color code. We sprayed 4 coats of sandable primer in the spots that needed it. 8 coats of Red - block sanding in between coats and 4 coats of clear. I took the pics after claybaring the car.

Now for the rubber trim. and reassembly.
