3.6 deal?
It was fun watching the price of my 3.6 go up the past few years but I guess the party is over as it is for many Porsches.

It is labelled as "Lowest Priced 3.6 on the Market" there must be a reason, probably "worst 3.6 on the Market"?

For an 80k mile car, that's a strong price. It is very nicely detailed and states no accidents, but is it all original paint? It's really tough to judge these cars from pictures alone. You need to go look at them with a fine tooth comb because there are many rats out there.

Seems priced about where I would expect it.

I don't want to bury the seller. I have spoken to them on a couple of cars over the last few years. They tend to have a lot of "story" cars. Can't hurt to have a PPI done and go see the car if you're interested

Looks like the price adjustment has arrived.
Nobody has spoken price here recently, however there are some nice cars not selling and
last week at Mecum a 3.6 sold for 195k.
Time to start driving them again. lol

They state "not a concours condition" car. Wonder what that means? Pics, of course, make it look fantastic. The delta between this and the next least expensive car is about $50K. Big red flag. Anyone seen this car in person?

My car sold for just south of that number last month. But my car had 94k miles and a tan interior which I think bring less money than a black interior. My car also had a complete very high quality single stage respray recently completed and service history since new.

I was at Paul Miller this morning and there is a black / black 3.3 turbo for sale at $159,000. I didn't see mileage. Paint looked good, but I wasn't inspecting, just looking.

I think there are some great cars for sale out there , however they are not all perfect and where used when new.
So for cars, not concours, to still get 40-50k more than when they were new still says a lot about them.

These guys picked up a number of these cars back when the market was on the rise and most have some "story" or another. They held onto them thinking people will spend just because it was a 3.6T. So many of these cars have stories and many have found a way to cover them up, so whatever you look at needs to be evaluated based on its merits. No doubt mileage and condition would have kept this car below 200 even at the hight of the market.
Mike can tell you about the 3.6T that was at Mecum that I almost purchased back in early 2000 that had been stolen and salvaged twice back then yet there is no evidence of a salvage title. It was truly a sad excuse for a 3.6T
It has always been a narrow market for these cars and far too many flippers have held out too long asking too much for cars with stories.

Yep, I agree. My car was daily driven year round from 1994-2015. It looked beautiful when I sold it but it was still an all original (except for paint) car with 94k miles on it that could have some expensive mechanical issues in the future. That fact that it brought around 40% more than the original MSRP with zero advertising and sold to the first person that looked at it with no PPI is pretty amazing to me.
