Default Turn indicator repair

Has anyone ever tried to repair the internal workings of the 964 turn indicator when the plastic tab breaks off??

It is easier to just replace it. They aren't that expensive depending on configuration. between $115 and $300 new IIRC.

Yeah, compared to $950 for an engine tin, $300 is loose change!

Understood. I am on my third unit in many years but thought there might be a solution to the breaking tab syndrom other than new one.

Can you post a pic of it? ... I'm wondering how teeny tiny small it is.

reason I ask, is because I have a excellent hot staple gun from Eastwood, that has allowed me to repair a TON of OEM plastic dash & other items on my old American Muscle.

If you want some links to info on it,... jump over here...

I'm TELLIN' Ya, it works GREAT!!

I have used it for sooo many household fixes. SAVED me lots of money on stupid little plastic repairs pieces (refrigerators, shelves, RC cars, etc).

TOTALLY worth the money. It will pay for itself very quickly (once you remember to use it).

(my recommendation: Throw away all your epoxy glues,... and THAT will force you to remember to use this tool in the first few months that you own it. Lol)
