The seller has decided on an asking price of €385k
Seems an appropriate number and pretty reasonable

It has all the same options bar the side vents . What is interesting about this car is that it was so early in the production run ,
Wheras as all the other specials came towards the end .

I liked the side air vents on the 993's more.

That is interesting. Being a P code makes it a 1993 MY and AFAIK all the turbo S cars were R coded 1994 MY cars. (At least for US market) Considering all the stock 3.6 Turbos were completed by December of 1993 and the documents were released for production info of the turbo S's in September of 93 this would make this a very unique car.

Am I reading the invoice correctly that the order was placed in March or June? Later in the ad it states the car was delivered in September which would be very late for a 93 so I must assume it was at the special wishes dept for a while.

Yes the order was placed in march and there is a confirmation
Letter in June . The first owner made many visits to the factory
During its assembly and yes it took a long time to complete !

Funny you say Barney-
There was a 993TT here in CO a friend of mine owns that was purple and was widely known as Barney - at least it had a grey interior (anything better than purple interior).

But it went through a top notch color change last year to a beautiful Audi color- Nogaro Blue. See before/after pics.
Please tell me that wasnt an original purple car he color changed??
