OK I know this is lame - no pic - but while messing with the battery yesterday I realized I there is a clear tube that it attached to a nipple on the driver, above the battery close to the small washer fluid reservoir. But it goes to nowhere? Is this for the battery vent? washer system? I didn't see anything obvious an dcouldn't find anything looking in parts diagrams....

It needs to be attached to the battery on the appropriate slot to flush the acid in case of boiling batteries.

Hey I knew I might be covering a sticky topic when I mentioned the word nipple LOL.
Of course I really left the door open by omitting the word "side"

I'll get a pic tonight just to be sure.

OK here's the hose - hopefully somebody can confirm where the "clear" tube that starts towards the top of the reservoir goes - thanks.

It goes into the slot of the battery to capture acid vapours (provided your battery has such a slot).
