I've just had my control arm bushes replaced with poweflex bushes.

The resultant ride is like the car is a pogo stick.

I'm not sure whether my suspension is shot and the new bushes have highlighted that or the bushes need time to settle or they've not been correctly installed.

Any other experiences out there?

Car needs to be at loaded ride height before you torque them down

Thanks. This was done by a Porsche dealer who does a number of these on 964s but you never know. I will take it back it. It's riding like a low rider bouncing along. Like the bushes aren't allowing the suspension to do its job.

Update. Evidently the time spent hanging off the shock/strut was too much for one shock, as it has seized.

I have a plan to put RUF 965 Bilsteins and H&R turbo springs into it eventually (taking them off my C4) but the old girl has brought forward those plans.

Thanks for the update, John.
With all the "what's my beat-up package car worth" and "I'm looking for an overpriced Turbo 3.6" threads, I was beginning to lose all hope for this board....
