Default New German Turbo book

I contributed to the book but would have no idea what it says as my German is non existent. Maybe they will send me a complimentary copy ... then again things are tough in Germany right now they'll probably make me buy a copy.

Here is the google translate summary ...

"Porsche 911 Turbo - Air Cooled Years" tells the story of the sports car legend, starting with the prototype at the IAA 1973 to the last air-cooled 993 Turbo model of the year 1998. With the advent of turbo-charging in the standard sports cars showed the young company Porsche their courage and innovation. The huge success of the 911 Turbo was with at the legendary reputation of the sports car. In addition to the production vehicles, the book is also intensively on small series, like the 964 Turbo Cabriolet, 993 Turbo Cabriolet and the 911 Turbo "package cars" from 1994, whose existence knows to this day no one. The book was written in close collaboration with the Historical Archives of Porsche AG and presents previously unpublished photographs. Finally, this work is a detailed statistical section, the Porsche has created the internationally recognized expert Norbert Franz exclusive. Thus for the first time, the detailed numbers of all produced 911 Turbos published werden.Gebundene edition, 200 pages, German / English ISBN-13: 978-3-9814592-1-0

The book is written in English and German. I have to thank Dieter Landenberger and Jens Torner (Porsche Archieve) for their great support!
While I was researching in the archieve for the new turbo-book ( Porsche 911 Turbo - Air Cooled Years 1975 - 1998), I also met Randy Leffingwell in Zuffenhausen - that was very interesting! If you oder the book directly at the publishing house, shipping is free worldwide and you can get a special signature from the author (me). Andreas Gabriel
