Healy/Zwart car has returned from paint and ready to go. White One

Tuthill skid plate mounted up. Does that look cool or what?

Steve Weiner mentioned that I should jump into this this thread and bring you guys up to speed. As asked above. I will try and do a nightly update every night while on the event in Mexico.

I'm the new/old guy at Rothsport, the one with the white hair. I was brought on to strip these 2 C4's down to the last bolt. I'm a G body/914 guy, so I've learned a lot.
I was around Rennlist back in the beginning. That is where my friendship with Steve Weiner began.

Big thanks for the update, I know you guys are busy. We all really appreciate the pictures and learning more about these special project cars.

Wow, this is nice!

Check out the trick Exe-TC front struts on the 964Safari. 50mm shock tube with 60mm strut housing. 4-way adjustable with remote reservoirs. Their could be a little chassis reinforcement in the background also.

I finished up the mud flaps yesterday. I think the plan is to take Car#1 (Rothsport) to Eastern Oregon on Monday for testing. All that is left is welding together the kangaroo bars and sending them out for powder coating and me cutting and installing the poly skid pad between the heavy aluminum skid plates.
Oh yeah, I think we're adding a steel plate right under the shifter.

It's been out for a couple road tests. It sounds bitchn.
I saw a quick glance of the proposed wrap last night. Its going to blow you away.

I'll shoot a couple pictures of the car today. I have a feeling tomorrow we be my last day off till we return from Mexico, May 1st or 2nd.

A look from below on the 964Safari Mexican1000 chassis at Rothsport Racing.

High lift jack in custom quick release mounts in the 964Safari Mexican1000 chassis.

Low mounted gas tank!

Theirs a place for everything in the 964Safari chassis...can you recognize this part?

Anti cactus bar as well as jacking point for the hi-lift jack. The 964Safari is ready to take on the Mexican1000.
