Slightly off-topic but proves a point...
I saw this vid pop up on my YouTube suggested videos.
First RWB on the Nurburgring! I was expecting to see some hot laps!
But what did I get? A bunch of parade laps for a photoop on the GP circuit.
This is what RWB has become outside of Japan. Bunch of fanboi poser instagram-wh0ring bullsh!t.

I'll agree, it does seem like most stateside RWBs become conversation pieces that aren't driven as much as they should be. But, I'll give credit where credit is due, I did see a white RWB lapping Sebring two weeks ago, so there is at least 1 owner who is still using their Porsche how it was meant to be used. Bravo sir.

Appreciate your insight and your take on the RWB. I don't ever plan on going RWB, but I don't hate it or love it. As you mentioned, there are some great examples out there and some not so attractive (like the Targa listed here).

I'm guessing that it didn't sell at the auction...
Maybe the winning bidder was a failed inside job to try to get auction off the ground and give it some momentum.
It wouldn't surprise me given the other shady stuff we've seen on RL in relation to this specific car.

2 thoughts on this car.
-If I were asking 130k for a car, I'd take more than 4 long range exterior photos
- the whole "point" of a rwb is the experience that goes along with creating it. As they are all individualized to some extent, why would you want someone else's build?

The original listing dealer was CATS Exotics in Lynnwood, WA and the current listing is out of Phoenix, AZ, so I don't see the "inside job". I assume the local Phoenix dealer assumed it was worth more than the $75k bid and bought it for inventory. I think we all agree he might be wrong as it was for sale for MONTHS at $125k and didn't sell and now its well known to have sold at BJ for $75k. He may learn to regret his bid...
