Default Any Singers?

Just wondering if any of you 964 folks have done the Singer transformation? What a massively cool thing that must be to order up just what you want!

Username superquant has one. Probably others too.

They are generally given a lot of crap when they post in this 964 subforum, therefore, they don't hang out here at all. They'll hang out the in Carrera GT and GT-car subforums with the folks that are better suited for discussion of upper echelon automotive things

My shop in Austin also stores cars for certain I would imagine higher end folks. Was in not too long ago and they showed me a viper green Singer. Wow is about all you can say when seeing this thing in the metal. They said it doesn't get driven much to which I very generously volunteered to help. I'm just that way...

What is the most popular forum on Rennlist? I think the 964 is either the most popular or close to it...so naturally we all give each other crap.....but it's loving crap!

Has anyone heard of one of these changing hands? I've been googling "Singer for sale" a few times a month for years with no results.

Nevermind, found an answer in another thread, as of late '15 four cars had changed hands, all facilitated through Singer, and all for at least build price. And of course, there is a Rennlister who owns two, haha, love this website.

Maybe they have some kind of Ferrari-esque contract language in their purchase agreement that says you need to give Singer the right of first refusal or allow them to sell it via consignment with Singer.

I don't know but highly doubt that. More likely Singer has a long waiting build list and people may be willing to accept a built car rather than waiting. Since singer has the info of who wants the cars seems like they could logically facilitate the sales.

I knew of one for sale in PA recently at a dealer. I think they were asking 700+ for it. Blue car, saw pics but that's about all the details I have
