Default I finally bought a 964

As many of you are aware, I had been searching for a 964 C2 manual coupe for almost a year. I sold my 997 GT3 in December of 2015 thinking it would be fairly easy to find a 964 and the search was exhausting. I finally found a 1992 C2 that a Rennlist member was selling. I'm quite happy with the car and now I'm looking at what maintenance/mods to do.

While I'm down in Orange County, I'm going to bring the car to Dorian Valenzuela at DV Mechanics so he can assess a few things on my car. Hopefully in early 2017, I'll get KW V3's, RS Sways, new bushings etc. to give the suspension a proper overhaul, its not necessary but a "nice to have mod".

If anybody has a set of new clear corner markers, send me a PM

I did that air box mod today and threw in a new filter, my car sounds much better! I need to couple it with a cup pipe to add a little exhaust note too

I have read good things about the Wong chip, its probably something I should buy then maybe upgrade it if I go to a lightweight flywheel down the road. I'm looking at buying the Fabspeed G-Pipe and new exhaust tip.

I could spend a little more for the Fabspeed muffler/tip which wouldn't be a bad route to go too.

I'm going to stick with the Cup wheels, get them refinished in OEM silver. Maybe down the road buy some BBS E88's but keep the Cup wheels for whenever I would sell the car since most people desire them on the car.

You'll probably find the G-pipe gives you the sound you are seeking. I ran them both, but not in tandem and found the cup pipe just didn't provide what I was wanting. If you run just the primary bypass, there are stories of people blowing up their secondary mufflers on track cars. i am not sure how hard it is on a street driven car.

Wonderful color you picked up! Congrats and Merry Christmas!
