Default Need help with brake clearance issue

What I have:
-964 cast iron hub carriers
-993 calipers
-928 Discs
-Relevant adapters

What I want to do:

-993 (non RS) alloy hub carriers.
-993 calipers (no adapters needed).
-993 discs

After checking the disc specs, the 993 disc is 5 mm more to the outside than the 928 disc. I am worried I will have an interference with the 16" rims I use if the caliper is 5mm more outside.

If someone has a 993 with std brakes, and a D90 or flat dish rim, would you be so kind to try and mount the rim to the 993 to check for interference?

7x16 ET55 was a stock 993 fitment, there should be no fitment issues w/ what you describe as long as you have 964 7x16 ET55 wheels. The 6x16ET52 964 wheels will likely present a problem where you would need spacers.

Yup, that is what I fear. I have 6x16 ET 52, and this is why I wish someone could actually try.
