5. Drained fuel. We used a hand pump to drain the old gasoline. It did not look as bad as we were expecting.

Headers are GHL. Had them on my RSA back in the day...
Car reminds me of an RS America that a buddy in Texas named Greg had... I think his screen name here was TR6? But I'm going back 10 years so I don't recall the specifics. But I do remember his white RSA w. Kinesis Supercup wheels...
It also looks to have an Autothority MAF intake. This opens up the intake nicely (hot wire instead of flapper) and with those headers probably improves the breathing on that 3.6 quite a bit. I have the Autothority on my '90 C2 if you need any info.

Unfortunately get used to being harassed. I have not taken my air cooled cars out much lately since I am sick of people chasing after me or approaching me or my friends in their 964's asking if they are for sale. I drive my 981 BGTS more since it doesn't get the same kind of attention. Not a bad substitute.
Also I agree about the J hook. Hard to tell from the pictures but the wheels at first glance look like the speedline Alessio but could be 993 Speedlines. If these are the Alessio's get rid of them they had cracking issues if they are the factory speedlines they are worth $$ if cleaned up.

^Vandi / ilko, from what I recall from the Carfax she was originally bought in FL and spent some time in NJ prior to moving back to FL...although I'll check again to make sure.

Does anyone have good recommendations for brake pad, rotor, and brake fluids for the car? I doubt she will see track time, but I intend to do normal street driving.
Also any recommendations on what I should use on the whale tail trim to add a bit more shine? I was going to put 303 protectant on all the rubber seals and was considering this for the rubber trim as well.
Here are some more pics--and I appreciate all of your detective work to help name some parts. Overall, cosmetically the car needs some work and is far from concourse. The paint needs to be brought to life and there are a few dings on the rear fender as seen. There is also the expected spider cracking of the rear lights (any replacement I should look for that this won't happen to?). The interior has some modifications I am looking to change and most obvious are the instrument dials, seats, and custom system / equalizer--I hope to be replacing these as I am able to source the original parts. The car also has a CF handbrake lever and shifter which appear to be from the 993 and I think I'll keep.
