Default Carpet glue

I need to clean up my cabin a little bit. I want to glue down some carpet. Is there any spray on contact Lou that works? Or something that's easy to use?

3m makes a great adhesive spray. Just make sure to spray the carpet and the floor, there is a small wait period for it to get tacky before adhering carpet.

I used 3M spray for large areas and the old formula of Barge glue on edges.

Thanks!

LOL, I know where you're going, and he deserves a lifetime membership on account of that thread.

But Rob posts in this forum pretty much daily.

Forget the 3M it is a PITA to work with the zep product works much better. Easier to use and does not soak in like the 3M.

Zep has many products that work well. They started out and have a huge industrial supply presence used by professionals.
I have used many adhesives and the 3M 77 is a pita to work with in comparison. Less control of the spray pattern and it does not hold up as well. The Zep product has a nice broad spray so long as you keep the nozzle clean.

I purchased mine from the carpet supplier who recommended it. I don't know if they have a lesser product for HD but I try to avoid the place as much as possible.
