I've always loved the look of the painted seat backs in the 993's and thought they would look great on my 964 targa. Has anyone had experience putting these 993 seats in a 964, I'd assume the seats are interchangeable between the two but wanted to make sure.

Yes, 993 seats fit in a 964 just fine. Electronics were plug and play for me.

Yep, plug n play. But they ain't cheap these days. You'd also want to get the rear seats in order to match the upholstery pattern. And 993 (or AppBiz) door cards

Might be better to get some Recaro seats and have the backs painted. The 993 hard backs look bloated, are expensive, and in my opinion don't suit the car.
