Default speedo question

Talia my MY91 C2 speedos don't agree. Meaning the analog speedo will read 100mph the digital display will read around 85mph while my actual speed will be around 79mph according to gps. The numbers above ate examples to illustrate my issue but are close to what the speedos read. My question is this normal? Can it be corrected I have never seen another 964 where I live in fact never saw a 964 till Talia was delivered to me Thanks in advance

I think this is a common issue that the speedos read higher than actual speed. My concern or question is does this reflect in a higher than actual mileage amount on the odometer?

Actual speed (gps) 65mph digital 67mph analog 70mph. The differences grow with more speed. Distance traveled seems to be exact with gps and trip meter. Will ck again on way home later

Mine is off quite a bit at higher speeds too. I think 70gps is about 75 on the speedo. The gap grows from there. I'm sure that the gauge restoration shops could recalibrate it. What size tires are you running?

I have genuine Porsche 17x55 cup2s the tires are the recomended size for the wheels on a 964. What those sizes are escapes my brain at this time
