How the heck do you price a 964?
The inventory seems low and with such high discrepancies between prices for a cabriolet or a tiptronic (seems c4 now is not discounted compared to c2)...
I have a c2 targa (even less inventory) that I might sell and I have zero idea how to price it...
1992 c2 targa manual
Canadian car, 133k km (approx 81k miles)
White on black, reseal 2 years ago no leaks perfectly running.
Is there a way to see past sales? The thread for price database is a start but it should be in an excel sheet and prices change rapidly it looks like.

The right price.
Sold my '65 Vette a while ago.
Talked to other owners at our local C&C for their opinions on price.
Dealers / flippers began contacting me.....
Added 10k to their opinions and had no more flipper calls.
Sold it on a private party sale. No problem !
You want to sell it higher than the snakes will pay !

Lots of data out there if you look. PCA classifieds just posted a MY93 targa with 43k miles IIRC for $48,000. I'd say without knowing the details of your car I'd put a number of $40,000 +/- 10%. FWIW there still is a price delta between C2 and C4's.

If the car is clean and in good shape, I'd say mid 40s (USD) would be a fair price. Just saw a nice C2 Targa (black on white) with higher miles than yours go for low 40s.

Have to see the car. There is so much variation on what constitutes clean. I've seen 964 sell for big money but they literally need NOTHING. Seals, paint, interior, motor, maintenance, everything is SORTED.
So, the range: 35-65 USD. Even with those miles.

I prefer a Garage Queen over a Drama Queen. For most of us it's all about the 964 and we support each other regardless of what variant of 964 we own or prefer.
