Default Question for C4 owners

I'm wondering if anyone out there has the same drivetrain feel that I have.
Not sure I have a problem, or this is just how C4's are?
Anyway the situation is: I'm either rolling back or forward with a very slight
turn of the steering wheel and it feels like I'm getting some rolling resistance in one or both of the back wheels. I imagine this is how a limited slip diff would feel like if the diff was locked slightly, or how a wheel bearing would feel if it was binding up.
At any speed over 20mph there is no such feeling at all - it's only low speed like when I'm rolling back out of the garage and only when the steering wheel has a few degrees of left or right.

Maybe this is just how early AWD feels like. I remember my dad's 80's Subaru felt kind of similar - if you can even compare a Subaru to a Porsche!!??

Cheers

Interesting because I felt the same thing the other day. A slight resistance when reversing slowly and Turing the wheel down my drive way ramp. It must be the awd because I have no rolling resistance at any speed going forward and straight.

Did you make sure your diff isn't on full lock? As in the console diff dial has no light? I have a C4 and I haven't noticed any resistance. Maybe I'm just oblivious to it lol

I think i found my issue. The wheel was rubbing slightly at full lock.

Seems like problem is fixed.
I cycled the diff lock on and off at slow speed about 6 times - and all is good now. Totally smooth with no weird locking up feeling.
I guess the components just need to be exercised every so often.
I've been told the same goes for the ABS system: full stops at about 40mph does the trick.
