Default New Porsche Classic Radio

I just received the ones I ordered and they are wonderful, all that one could ask for to technology modernize the 964 and remain faithful to its design.

No. It should be installed by the third week of May.

I got two that arrived last week. One going in the 964 the other in my 72 project.
Probably a month out from getting the one in the 964 installed.

Truly there is nothing better, yet alone even close, for the 993 and back.

Got mine installed today.
This is an awesome piece of kit. I programmed the NAV to be a British female
Sound is good, I have the Nokia hi-fi in my 993.
I may use the stylus the most when I'm programming settings stuff, so far I just navigated home and played music from my iPhone via Bluetooth.
I haven't tried the ipod or aux input. You'll see in the picture we decided to put it under the dash between the ashtray and glovebox because sitting on the carpeted top of the center console ashtray wouldn't open all the way.
Handsfree phone sounds great to others I've called. Mic we put between the sun visors, kit says GPS antenna on rear deck but I have a carpeted deck cover to keep the sun off the vinyl so we put it on the passenger side of the dash next to the A pillar.
Comes with plain black ***** and the ones shown here with a metal trim ring, since it's not too 'brassy' I decided on those *****.
I left the box at the dealer so they could advertise them. I think Porsche will sell scads of these things.

One of the best things I've done to this car.

On a side note, I had a 991 Carrera S loaner. I guess they felt sorry for me because I sold the Macan because I could no longer justify the payments or the 40k I still owed and bought a GTI. 991 Carrera S IMHO is a way overpriced car, I'd rather have a new M4 for less. Great noise, great engine power and torque, but it just did not feel as if I were connected to the car the way I am to my 993 or the way I felt connected to my track-prepped 996. Now I'd love to try a GTS or GT3 991, but overall it left me feeling MEH.

Do you think you could add a back up camera to the aux input port?
