Thank you, she's 2 1/2. I had a male for 12 years. I've always loved Doberman's as well. Yours is one fine specimen! And yes, I knew there is some Doberman in GSPs!

My step Dad used to have a Doberman that he would take bird hunting because he would point haha! Guess the SHP was strong is that Doberman.

I've actually seen Fletcher do it to. Get kinda low, one front paw up.

Default Her favorite thing to do....

This was my ol' girl. She loved riding in my car. She just passed away last December. Totally miss her.

Vegas993: I am considering painting my rocker panels. Did you smooth your panels before paint? Would you do it again? Any tips?

Funny, I've always heard there was Doberman in GSP's, not the other way around, lol! My first dog caught birds his entire life but seldom pointed. This one could care less about birds but has an awesome natural point!

Yeah, they're mixture of a bunch of dogs and not a very old breed compared to other breeds. I was pretty surprised when I learned this. Fletcher is my second, I had a female growing up.

Wikipedia:

"The Doberman is a mixture of breeds that include the German Shepherd, German Shorthaired Pointer, Great Dane, Greyhound, and Weimaraner, but most notably the Beauceron, German Pinscher, and Rottweiler."

Fletcher is that way too.

As long as he gets his daily dose of park time in he's good to go. Why I wouldn't recommend a Doberman to a causal dog owner. I think I've talk more people out of getting one than I've helped get one because of that. They need a little more attention as they are bred to be smart and have lots of endurance, which is a perfect recipe for some mischief.

Your Doberman is a great looking Doberman btw. His crop looks and coloring are perfect.

Here he's in full Snowberman:

Is this a Doberman forum or Porsche? Who cares, they're both awesome. Here's Maximus and he's looking for a 964 project car......anyone know of one?!?

Haha! That's awesome. Some of these dogs in 964 pics make me feel bad about not letting Fletcher into the car, but he's destroyed in the interior of my daily already.

When I had the passenger seat out I did have an idea of making a nice dog seat for him, so he can go for rides with me.
