Magnus Walker Rims for Sale
Hey RL,
After much thought, I'm letting the MW 1552 Outlaw Rims go because, as I found out later, the C4's does not like 18's in general. The all-wheel drive has an issue with that size from what I learned. (Ask Rob G. he will give you engineering details)
Long story short, the wheels are freakin awesome for a Porsche...just not a C4. Uggg.
Here are the stats. (They will come with barely used R888...and 1 extra or spare tire as well)
-Forged 3pc Outlaw 001: 18x8.0 ET45
-Forged 3pc Outlaw 001: 18x9.5 ET48
-Matte Gold Powder Coat Centers and Caps
-Matte Gold Powder Coat Outers
-Matte Gold Powder Coat Hardware
No scuffs, bumps, or bruises.
Asking $5K OBO (pick up only)
If you are interested, please email me directly larry@ammonyc.com
BTW: These took weeks from ordering to receiving. Long back up apparently.

huh?
i'm planning on running 18's on mine. i believe as long as you keep the rolling radius within 5% front to rear one should be fine.

Yes, these will work well for a c4 or c2. Keep the correct tire sizes on the wheels and you won't have rub issues or PDAS issues. Outer diameters are important for the c4.

I've seen these wheels in person. They are perfect and look fantastic on the car. Frankly I'm surprised they haven't sold yet. So many guys are always looking for something interesting and as much as I've not been a huge fan of the Magnus wheels in black and silver et al, these in all deep bronze/gold look really good.

There is no issue w 18s on a c4. It's only tire size that would be an issue. Well, really "available" tire size.
Example. Let's say you have room for 275/25 in the rear...and you wanted a 235 in the front. You would need a manufacture to be making a tire that is a 235 and has a sidewall size that gives you he same outer rolling diameter as the insanely wide 275 you squeezed into the rear of your car. 18" wheels has nothing to do with it.
The "being within 5%" thing is about the warning light that the computer will give you if it calculates your outer diameters are outside of 5% difference front to rear. But. Even if you are approaching 5% difference and not quite there, you are still asking the system to begin to transfer torque to the front wheels. So you really want to be as close to the same as you can get.
So basically the car won't handle at its best if your diameters are off- on a c4. On a c2 you can do as you please.
For these wheels, you would be 225/255 with no issue, as there are 225 and 255 width tires with the correct sidewall sizes available to use. We see people doing it all the time. Butzigear just did a set of 18" E88 with them. I can't remember the sidewall sizes off the top of my head for the 18s but I know they are available.
Make sense? Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there is a compatible 225/265 set? Someone here will know. Anyway. The issue isn't 18s, it's just a question of having the outer diameter of the tires be the same front to rear - or very close to it.

If you look at the spec for 18" Michelin Pilot Super Sports as an example, 225/45 diameter = 25.1", 255x35 = 25" (~same as stock F/R ratio). 265/35 rears are a little taller at 25.3", which is likely fine? 275/35 = 25.6" may cause a problem with a C4.
If you go with 275/35 rears, you may need to try 235/40 fronts since their diameter is 25.4". This F/R ratio may be ok?

Adrian covers this in some detail, which is summarized in the attached file.
