Front strut change
Getting ready to install my Bilstein HD/Eibach setup and have a question on marking camber setting before removing?
Is my assumption correct;
I can mark the top strut to hub camber bolt to old strut before loosening and orient to same location on new strut? With Allen socket on front of strut to hub, torque backside of bolts, all without using tool 9265? This is all temporary to then get to alignment. I don't need 9265 eccentric tool to install strut or do I?

Odds are that if you don't have an adjustable top mount the most camber you could dial in on the strut will be around -2 degrees. So worse case if you go full negative you will be OK to drive it to the alignment shop for a fine tune.

I know to mark a vertical line through old strut from bottom to top before disassembly. Transfer orientation to new spring to bottom/top mount assembly before installing again.
I should mark in frunk existing top mount orientation as well, correct?

I didnt mark anything on mine . Took the old ones off and stuck the new ones on. Drove fine to the alignment shop and a couple hours later i was back home good as new.
