Default SoCal (Malibu?) Canyon drive this weekend

Well, should be like 80 this weekend. I want to bring the car up for a gentle canyon cruise.

Maybe be up there about 8:30am or so, give or take. Saturday...

PM me if you 're interested to meet up. Police presence on weekends is pretty hight so no speed records will be set (save it for the track!!), just some fun.

See ya!

Sorry I can't make this drive but I'll try to make the next run. I have to take the family to legoland.

Looks awesome. The 964 with the gold rims I have to say is one of the prettiest I've ever seen and I'm anti-aftermarket rim/xtra low cars. Top notch.

The other "964" isn't a 964. Its nick name is project nasty owned by Joey Seely who used to work at BBI but has a shop of his own now. It's an 85 911 Carrera 3.2 that's been completely stripped and running crazy suspension with a built engine from a 964 RS America. And the bumper is a replica of the RUF yellowbird

Yup. 2200 lbs and over 300 at the wheel. It's stupid fast.

The weather was insane and will be so all week. i might have to sneak out for a canyon run early tomorrow AM.

It definitely convinced me: I will keep this car balanced to street, with a rough bit of edge, i'm keeping the sunroof, and i'm keeping the AC :-)

I think I can drop 200 lbs more and keep those luxuries with what I want to do !!!

funny you mention keeping the sunroof. I had determined I wanted to yank mine. But this last weekend I admit gave me second thoughts as well.

You have a nice track toy, the 964 will make a great street/canyon carver. As much as I like track cars, it's fun to see 964's with mods that make it more enjoyable on the street.

Any plans for the interior?
