Congratulations! That's the most comfortable seats in any Porsche! Way ahead of the 993 hardbacks! Unscrew the plastic ignition key protecktion plate anti clockwise and polish it with black shoepolish, that will do the trick!

And the name of the silver paint? Looks great!

How were you able to get the black bezel off without damaging? Trying to do it myself at the moment but can't see a way without damaging!! Car looks great by the way, love the colour combo.

Are you concerned that people will consider the Kilometers as miles? How do you plan on addressing that?

Thanks! I used a small screw driver and just dug around and around the bezel until I was able to get under the bezel and unroll the edge. Any damage or scratches I caused was fixed with a black sharpie. In short, I wasn't able to avoid damaging it but as long as you're careful you should be fine.
I've heard that using a panel popper works great and doesn't cause any damage. Maybe give that a try?

I was somewhat concerned but when I removed the speedo I discovered the sticker on the back says KM. If I ever sell I can just show that

kokolyia:

Firstly congrats on the car. Looks fantastic and you will definitely love the sports seats.

Second I noticed that your interior is missing the lower dash just like mine. Except mine is a ROW car so I believe that is the norm for ROW models. However, I always thought that all NA cars had the lower dash.

Your car -

My car -

Example with lower dash -

Noticed the upper glove box in both our cars. It was replaced with lower glove box to make way for the passenger air bag.

Maybe it is because of the model year? Maybe the Canadian cars are closer to ROW than the US cars?

I personally like it better without the lower dash.

Actually, and in my opinion, the RS America seats are even better!

Congrats on the car! Silver is amazing on these cars. Sweet! What are your long term plans for the car?

Can you all chime in on the C4 vs C2 thing. I have an eye on a C4 but have always only considered C2's. The AMMO car is a C4 and is built up to a very high standard. It works well on track and on road but I assume it feels very different. Do C4 owners make them C2's or are they left alone and appreciated for what they are. I'm on the west coast so not much weather to contend wit, and I do want to track it part of the time.

C4s are better daily drivers in my opinion. It is less likely to bite you if you are not paying attention, especially in the wet. In my opinion, never should a C4 be converted to a c2, nor is it easy to do (like in the 993) due to the advanced engineering put into the 4wd system. Just my 2 cents!!
