Default Optimum 17" wheel width and offset request please :-)

Hi folks. Lots going on with my car next week with PSS10S and RS uprights being fitted...which has me in the mood for good set of 17" 3 piece wheels.

Ideally I would run 8.5" at the front and 10" at the rear, but with a 1" lip (or 0.5" lol) front and rear as I'm not a deep dish fan on NB 964s.

Bearing that in mind, can I run 8.5" at the front and what are the offsets I need? And if not 8.5", then assuming 42 is the correct offset for the front. Also, would I need a rear spacer to accommodate the 1" lip at the rear if using BBS type centres...thinking yes so an idea of width would be mega.

*****--------------------------------------------

Just seen the cup specs/ read lots of info:

8.5" x 17" PCD 130, offset 52
10.0" x 17" PCD 130, offset 47

limitations seem to be tyre choices...888 and PS2s are avail in 235 and 275 guise which will give me a sexy sidewall, but not much else out there?

Anyone running something similar to the above?

So I have these measurements back from a specialist - what do the experts here think?

Front: 8.5" et42 ( 0.5 outer , 8.0 inner )

Rear: 10.0" et55 ( 1.0 outer , 9.0 inner )

but also thinking....

Front: 8.5" et42 ( 0.5 outer , 8.0 inner )

Rear: 9.5" et ? ( 0.5 outer , 9.0 inner )
