Sounds like gonna be a quick car. Any idea what weight he's shooting for?

Thanks everyone for the kind words! We don't have any accurate details to Magnus' build as we are only responsible for the engine.

Engine case thoroughly cleaned in the ultrasonic cleaner

Balancing an engine is a critical step at BBi. For this particular engine, the components are weighed and matched within 0.3 gram. In comparison, factory tolerance is approximately within 5 grams.

Can't beat a nice N/A high revving 3.8 on ITBs - I managed 360HP and about the same torque. Watch how you spec the cams as your stock gearbox ratios won't always have you in the power band... unless you build a box to suit.

Any boat tailing for the case?
Are you using and porting the original heads - intake and exhaust? What sizes?

I'd add ARP head studs, as well as heavy duty valve springs...

When did you all get the motor together? Or are these photos real-time and it's really coming together on the week before SEMA?

Soooo many questions! Is that a 993 crank that has been knife-edged? When you say 'lightweight' are you referring to his car or the engine parts?

Thanks, and Awesome build!

Yes, it is a 993 crank and we were referring to the weight of the engine internals

The engine is currently still being assembled. Unfortunately, neither the car or Magnus will be at SEMA this year.

Magnus canceled his SEMA appearance this year to attend to a personal family matter. More details on his Instagram: https://instagram.com/magnuswalker/

Yes a solid old campaigner .. but it's DOS based, no?
Do you have an old PC for that or how do you tune it?
