If I could get that engine for $30,000, I'd be on the list!

There are all kinds of 3.8 conversions not all equal. One could spend 25k on a 964 3.8 or 50k as well. I'd guess this is closer to the 50k job.

Yes this bbi build is a 993. But 964 has the same kind of build costs.

Thank you for the kind words! I take all the pictures here at BBi

The car is not running yet as we have more work to do. It will come back here for us finish up and tune it on an engine dyno.

Both the costs and performance numbers are in that range. Here are a few pictures that we took before it left last night to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week in the Pirelli booth:

stunning work jerry. really, it's sick.

does this mean you guys are incorporating more "air-cooled" 911's into your work, or this is just another rare, one off?

Nice work indeed ... love the louvres but rear lights not so much. Headers and exhaust look supreme!

Only noticed the rain gutter delete now .. was that easy enough? Did the louvre guys do it too?

Not at all surprised by the build cost. Looks to be one hell of a motor.
